A selection of completed painting and decorating projects across Worcester, Worcestershire and nearby areas. These case studies show our approach to preparation, paint systems, finish quality and careful working in real homes.
We completed this high-end interior painting project in Leigh Sinton, Worcestershire, across the original house and a new single-storey extension.
Farrow & Ball colours were mixed into Johnstone’s Trade Durable Matt, giving the customer a refined finish with better durability for everyday living.
Because the client had a background in housebuilding, preparation, clean lines and finish quality were especially important.

The finished room shows a clean, consistent interior finish with soft neutral walls, crisp white woodwork and plenty of natural light. The aim was to make the original house and new extension feel connected, with a refined finish throughout.
The customer chose Farrow & Ball colours, which were mixed into Johnstone’s Trade Durable Matt for a more practical finish.
This gave the rooms the refined colour choice they wanted, with the added benefit of a tougher Class 1 scrub-rated paint system for everyday living. This is something we often advise on as part of our interior painting in Worcester and Worcestershire service.

Good preparation was key to the finish. Flooring was protected, surfaces were checked carefully, and attention was given to walls, windows, sockets, skirting boards and new extension details before and during painting.
If you like designer paint colours but want a more durable finish, it may be worth asking whether the colour can be mixed into a trade paint system. This can give a similar look with better practicality for everyday use.
