Exterior painting for render, masonry, windows, doors and exterior woodwork across Worcester and nearby areas, including Malvern and Droitwich.

Peeling coatings, failed filler, exposed timber and areas of decay need to be dealt with before new paint is applied.
Preparation may include scraping, sanding, filling, minor resin repairs and priming where required.
Where sanding is required, we use dust extraction to help control dust and leave a properly prepared surface for the new coating system.
Masonry, timber and metalwork have different requirements. We select primers, undercoats and finishes according to the surface, its condition and exposure to the weather.
On older or more porous surfaces, we may recommend breathable coatings where these are better suited to the building and existing substrate.

Older properties can require a different approach, particularly where traditional timber, lime-based materials or breathable coatings are involved. We assess the existing surfaces before recommending suitable preparation and finishes.
For more detail on traditional materials and suitable finishes, see our heritage and listed building decorating service.
Exterior work is planned around safe access and suitable weather conditions. Depending on the property, this may involve ladders, towers or powered access.
We also allow for temperature, rainfall and drying conditions so coatings are applied when conditions are suitable.

Exterior painting depends more on suitable conditions than a particular month. Surfaces need to be dry, with appropriate temperatures and enough time for coatings to cure properly. We plan work around the weather where necessary.
Yes. We can arrange a visit to assess the property, discuss the work required and provide a clear quotation.
This depends on the size and condition of the property, the preparation required and access. Smaller exterior projects may take a few days, while complete property repaints can take considerably longer.
Minor defects can often be dealt with as part of the preparation, including filling and suitable resin repairs. Where timber is extensively decayed or requires replacement, we will identify this before painting begins.
Not necessarily. Access is considered for each property and may involve ladders, towers, scaffolding or powered access depending on the height and nature of the work.
Availability varies throughout the year, particularly during the main exterior painting season. Once we have seen the property and established the scope of work, we can give you a realistic indication of timing.
